PACEdays 2017: "Digital Transformers"

A new generation of smart aerospace and aviation software solutions

Digital technology is rapidly transforming our workplace and with it customer expectations. Not only the much talked-of Millennials take having relevant information and digital assistance at their fingertips for granted, especially if it involves their work. PACEdays 2017 will explore what this cultural shift means for key areas of the aerospace and aviation industry and how you can employ emerging mobile, collaboration and simulation technologies to tackle these challenges in efficient new ways.

New this year are virtual and augmented reality (AVR) solutions, which bridge the gap between the physical and digital world. Especially when combined with wearable devices, AVR solutions allow a more intuitive interaction with data, content and environments, which can be effectively leveraged in a wide variety of engineering fields including

  • Aircraft configuration and virtual showrooms
Discover how to use immersive technology to present aircraft and interior options in stunning level of detail and accuracy
  • Flight crew and maintenance technician education
Learn how to maximize mission-critical competency in authentic, risk-free VR training scenarios
  • Operations support and real-time guidance
Find out how to enhance the day-to-day operations of technical crews with contextual AR information and over-the-shoulder coaching

Conference tracks

We continuously evolve our conference programming to keep up with the trends that are shaping the future of aerospace and aviation professionals. Complementing the PACEdays's established key themes, we are pleased to introduce a new segment to the program: Virtual Training & Operations Support will focus on how AR and VR technologies transform the way technical expertise is acquired and applied in the field.

Networking event

On Tuesday, we invite you to attend our traditional evening get-together. Let us introduce you to Berlin’s first craft brewery which is housed in the historic walling of the railway arches near popular Hackescher Markt. Brauhaus Lemke is known for its authentic regional cuisine and, of course, a wide variety of craft beer. With copper brewing kettles adding warmth and industrial ambience, the location allows to wind down and mingle with fellow conference guests in an atmospheric and relaxed setting.
