PACE Future Innovator Awards APD Student Competition Has Begun!

By PACE Aerospace & IT, Nov 14, 2022

The PACE Future Innovators Awards student competition in aircraft preliminary design has begun!

The teams have been selected. Virtual training sessions led by PACE preliminary design experts have concluded. The only thing left to do now is design!

Each team will now employ the powerful features of Pacelab APD and begin their attempt to come up with an aircraft preliminary design that best meets the requirements of the competition. The competitors will have up to the end of February 2023 to finish their innovative designs, after which the three best teams will be selected to present their submissions at next year’s PACEdays conference. The winner will be selected from these three finalists by our panel of experts!

Thanks to our partner, Euroavia, we had a great turnout of applicants for the competition. 13 preliminary design teams and a total 48 participants were selected to compete. They come from six countries and nine universities around the world.
