Standardized development process
Our standardized set of methods, automated tools and audits enables us to create high-quality SCAP modules from any paper-based or computerized AFM. At the core of the process is a digitization operation which extracts values from the AFM graphs and makes them available for automated computation.
Customer-defined functional scope
Our toolkit enables us to create enhanced SCAP modules including parameters such as multiple turns and accumulated error, which exceed IATA specifications. The modules’ flexible structure allows an easy integration of airline-specific operational policies.
Customer-defined optimization strategies
Some manufacturer-supplied SCAP modules provide limited optimization options which are not equally suited for all operators. Our takeoff and landing modules can incorporate a wide range of optimization strategies including optimum flap settings, improved climb procedures, V1 policies and fixed thrust derates or assumed temperature (flex temperature) methods.
Tried-and-tested reliability
Our SCAP module’s computation loop closely follows the procedures and methods outlined in the AFM. Each module undergoes a comprehensive quality audit involving hundreds of test cases for total and partial sequences to ensure the reliability and security of the software.
