Pacelab Cabin 7 presents alternative configuration options in a transparent, interactive manner. It can capture even the most complex configuration rules and automatically check the compatibility of the selected options. With Pacelab Cabin7, configuration does not have to stop at the LOPA level, as dedicated editors for galleys, lavatories and other cabin systems allow defining the cabin interior in unprecedented detail. Optionally, PDM integration and data preparation services will be available.

Pacelab Cabin 7’s advanced 3D rendering engine lets customers see in real time how their choices affect the appearance of the cabin. Photo-rendered images and virtual tours bring the planned cabin to life in realistic textures, vibrant colors and nuanced lighting, giving customers a clear idea of the finished product and minimizing the risk of late revisions.

Despite its extensive functional scope, Pacelab Cabin 7 is extremely easy to use: Even the non-CAD savvy will find the new, uncluttered user interface intuitive and quick to master and can expect to become productive almost instantly.

High-end 3D visualization

Pacelab Cabin 7 provides advanced 3D visualization options ranging from real-time rendering during layout configuration, which ensures a lag-free switch between 2D and 3D view, to advanced ray tracing, which generates photorealistic images and animations for marketing and quotation materials.

GUI concept for electronic catalogs

Pacelab Cabin 7’s revised user interface enables aircraft manufacturers and BFE vendor to present their offering in an attractive catalog-like style. The underlying configuration rules ensure option compatibility and adherence to corporate selling policies.

CAD data connectivity

Pacelab Cabin 7 allows importing CAD geometry for visualization and clash detection purposes. PACE offers extensive data services to achieve the best balance between optimized runtime performances and visual quality.

Cabin monuments and systems configuration

Where previous product versions offered a very basic set of monument properties, Pacelab Cabin 7 features a fully-blown product configuration module, which can be used for any cabin system including galleys, lavatories, stowages, IFE and door frame lining systems.

New user interface

For the new version, the user interface has been given a thorough facelift, both visually and conceptually, which will appeal to novice and experts users alike. The new interface is designed to allow an intuitive handling of the most frequent configuration tasks and to provide more comprehensive user guidance.

PDM integration

Optionally, Pacelab Cabin 7 can be fully integrated with a PDM system to implement a centralized management of 2D and 3D models, project and customer data, certification and option compatibility rules and other configuration data.
